Discussions continue to expand online and at face-to-face meetings about the importance of creating video messages and placing it on Web sites and blogs.
While this may seem like just “another thing to do,” it’s a marketing technique that’s smart to consider and easy to complete.
Here are three ways to get into the video world.
1. Buying a Flip recording device for $150 or less is in most budgets, or consider purchasing a $30 Web cam that sits atop your monitor. Either one is easy to operate as long as you read the instructions.
Four of my marketing videos were recorded at my desk using a camcorder, tripod, and remote control, while another was filmed inside of an empty tent provided by a relative.
2. Remove “Hollywood quality” from your mind. Raw, from-the-heart clips are more genuine, but I do suggest that you create a script to make the on-air delivery smooth and worth watching.
3. Add the video to your Web site or blog and also upload it to the popular video sharing sites. This ensures that you’ll be found by anyone searching for your products and services.
Now’s the time to “think video” and capture sales through this developing process.
What’s your quick-and-easy method of video marketing?
