It’s Time to Check Prices and Expenses
Just as there is a time to review and increase your prices, it’s also important to determine which of your expenses may overlap or no longer be needed.
I just went through this process and found one expense I was happy to release.
Marketers who operate businesses today may have chosen their cell phones as the primary communications tool.
If you’ve been in business long before cell phones became popular, you may still have opted for landline service and later added a cell phone for on-the-go communications.
After monitoring my landline phone, I realized that my cell phone is more important than the plugged-in line.
I called my communications provider and learned that my landline number could be moved to my cell phone, allowing me to eliminate the $35 monthly bill.
These funds can easily moved into my marketing, retirement, or vacation column.
Perhaps this option is one for you to consider, or maybe there’s another expense that’s a prime target for removal.
How are you making sure that your expenses are as low as possible?

I totally agree with you, Regina.
It’s worth the time to set aside one hour every three months, at a minimum, to review expenses and see which expenses can be trimmed or are totally unnecessary.
This makes a big impact on the bottom line, and why keep paying for something you don’t need when those funds can be funneled back to marketing?
Hi Suzie,
Your focus on abundance is definitely a great tool for watching costs and lowering expenses, so I know this task will be easy for you.

Excellent post and one I definitely concur with. Being in business can be expensive however, when I took the time to look over my expenses, it wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be to just let go of some things that really don’t fit in the ‘need’ category, some of them were more of a ‘want’ category that didn’t serve a cost effective purpose.
