How Amusement Rides Resemble Marketing

childrens rides resemble the beginning of a marketing planOne day during my vacation in Maine, the rain stopped long enough for me to visit Old Orchard Beach.

The calm environment teamed with amusement park rides made me want to become a child again.

Most of all, the rides reminded me of the steps we take in marketing.

The slow and steady toddler rides are for beginners, which inch their way around in a manner that doesn’t scare us.

That’s how most of us ease our way into marketing when business begins.

marketing is all about risk and rewardThen we move up to more-challenging rides, the ones that swing, twist, and turn.

It’s similar to marketing on a higher level, providing us with lucrative rewards because we take more risks.

Choosing comfortable or chaotic marketing depends on your tolerance.

Either choice is better than doing nothing because both will maximize your promotional options.

Which of these rides resembles your current marketing style?
