Create an Audio Option for Your Printed Newsletter

by Shirley George Frazier on March 18, 2009

reach a new group for marketing through audioAttending conferences to learn new ways and hear new twists on how to create a more-profitable business is important to my growth. I’m hoping that’s also true for you.

Last Saturday marked the last day of my first conference this year, and it didn’t disappoint in terms of content, networking, and on-the-spot practicing.

One documented idea that’s easy to implement is distributing your printed newsletter as a podcast.

In other words, podcast the same information that’s printed in your online newsletter.

This serves three purposes:

  • Subscribers who prefer audio to print will hear your message downloaded to their iPods.
  • You will create a new channel that’s accessible and marketable around the world.
  • Individuals unfamiliar with who you are and what you offer will get to know you through audio.
  • I have an iTunes account but never considered this easy-to-complete task.

Is this option a new way to market your products and services, or have you already taken advantage of this text-to-talk opportunity?
